# Legacy

> Legacy is a UK non-profit giving app. People back as many UK registered charities as they like with one monthly Direct Debit, or give once by card on Legacy's checkout, with Gift Aid taken care of.

## Send someone to give

An assistant can send someone straight to Legacy's checkout with the charities, and the amounts, filled in. Build the link from UK registered charity numbers:

https://donate.givewithlegacy.com/checkout?charityNumbers=220949,SC022140&amounts=20,10

- `charityNumbers`: up to six UK registered charity numbers, such as those on the Charity Commission for England and Wales or the Scottish Charity Regulator, separated by commas.
- `amounts`: optional. Pounds for each charity, in the same order. Leave it out to let the donor choose.
- The donor adds their details, decides on Gift Aid and an optional tip, and pays by card on that page. Nothing is given until they finish, so don't tell them they have donated.
- A number Legacy can't take a gift for is named on the page, and the donor can carry on with the rest.

## MCP server

- [Legacy MCP server](https://donate.givewithlegacy.com/agents): checks charities by number, prices a gift with Gift Aid and builds the checkout link. Server URL: https://donate.givewithlegacy.com/mcp (Streamable HTTP, no sign-in).
