  Caring for lost, abandoned and unwanted dogs and cats at three centres across south-east England.

  Where they focus

  Open-door rescue 365 days a year, plus world-class veterinary and behaviour teams.

  Why it matters

  They never turn an animal away. The safety net for pets who've run out of other options.

  Why we like them

  An old promise, still kept: no postcode test, no waiting list, no questions asked. The vet and behaviour teams behind that promise are some of the best anywhere, and you can feel it in how they talk about the animals.

  Providing low-cost and free veterinary care to pets whose owners can't afford private treatment.

  Where they focus

  48 Pet Hospitals delivering around three million treatments a year.

  Why it matters

  Vet bills are a top reason pets get given up, and PDSA keeps families and their animals together.
