The Wildlife Trusts

- Where they focus
- Managing 2,300 nature reserves, rewilding farmland, urban nature projects, and citizen science.
- Why it matters
- The largest network of community-based nature charities in the UK, with over 900,000 members and volunteers.

Woodland Trust

- Where they focus

- Why it matters
- Only 13% of the UK is wooded, less than half the European average. Ancient woodland makes up barely 2.5%.
